Moderate wear to extremities; backstrip slightly discoloured; penned address below bookplate on front pastedown; rear free endpaper has penned references to text and stapled photocopy; occasional light foxing; regular light browning. Good condition with the bookplate of a member of the famous Sheffield silver family. This little book aims at putting into the hands of the people of Sheffield and Rotherham a key to the antiquities of their neighbourhood which will help them to understand and enjoy – for to understand is to enjoy – antiquities all over the kingdom.
